How to play

  1. Roll once a day for a random number 0–1,000,000
  2. The rarer the number, the higher the score
  3. Light up the atlas, keep your streak

Scoring

Each feature earns EP = -log₂(p) × 20, rounded to an integer, where p is its exact frequency across all 1,000,001 numbers (precomputed exhaustively at build time — not a sample estimate).

When one number hits several features in the same group, they are ranked by EP within the group and credited at ×1 / ×0.35 / ×0.15 / ×0.07 / ×0.03 in turn; the total score is the sum of every credited point — the +EP values on the page literally add up to it.

Meme numbers get no manual bonus: a meme like 114514 stands on its true rarity alone — one in a million is naturally ≈399 EP.

Short numbers naturally hit more feature categories (3 is prime, Fibonacci, and triangular all at once) — that is math, not a bug; the real battlefield for million-scale numbers is digit sum and digit patterns. Baseline guarantee: every number always matches its "digit sum" and "digit makeup" baseline features — no number hits zero features.

The Institute

RNGdle.me is a production of the Number Rarity Institute (数字稀有度研究所). We study the rarity of numbers — perhaps too seriously.
